Children's Museum & Gymnastics class

Last night Daddy and Mamaw Linda took the girls to the Children's Museum because it was a free event night. They were supposed to be able to get their faces painted and they could paint pumpkins and lots of other fun fall themed things, but apparently the lines were WAY too long for face painting and pumpkins so the girls enjoyed the exhibits instead. They had a good time!

Our little monkey's are hanging upside down, being silly like usual. L-R: Emily, Madison, Alexa.

This is our first attempt at adding video. Not sure if it will work or not, but here goes. The girls are doing the hokey pokey with other kids at the museum. They are kind of center screen, L-R: Alexa, Emily, Madison. By the way, there is no sound to the video as our digital camera is not capable of capturing sound.

This morning, I took the girls to a gymnastics class. They could go and try the class out for free, so I decided we might as well check it out. The girls LOVED it. They did some stretches and then went right to it. They jumped on trampoline, walked balance beams, did hopscotch, attempted cartwheels, did a flip on a low bar, more balance beam, hopped their way into the foam pit, and then did some kind of musical dinosaur dance thing. Needless to say, the 45 minute class was packed full of fun for the kids and they had a great time! There were only two other girls in the class with my kiddos, so that made it nice.

Sorry, I don't have any pictures of the gymnastics...I didn't think to grab the camera on my way out the door this morning. They really want to go back again soon, but I might try to check out another facility first (and hopefully another free class) to be sure we go to the one that suits them best. Yikes, this is gonna be expensive!
