State Fair pictures

Emily, Alexa and Madison are driving their car like pros on this ride. They look so serious because they are concentrating on what they are doing, but they had fun too.

Below is a picture of Emily riding in the race car ride...it whipped them around the corner real fast and they LOVED it.


Below are Madison and Alexa on the same race car ride. They had a lot of fun!

Okay, it's hard to see them in this picture, but Madison is in the last seat (with an unknown girl) and Emily and Alexa are two seats ahead of her. You can see them better in the next picture.

You can see Madison in the next to last seat (on the left) and Emily and Alexa are two seats ahead of her. I wish we could have gotten better pictures of their faces on this ride because they were THRILLED by this ride. I think we are turning them into thrill seeking adrenaline junkies...I have no doubt they will love roller coasters (when they are tall enough to ride them).

I couldn't post pictures without including one of daddy with his little princesses. This one isn't the greatest because the girls are making funny faces, but I decided to include it anyway.

A great time was had on our trip to the fair even if the girls were too tired to ride a pony or elephant...and even if they never left the midway rides (except for the tractor ride). This was the first time that I can think of that we have attempted an outing like this without the help of grandparents. I'd say it was a success, but it also makes me appreciate the help that we get from mamaw and papaw when they go with us on these types of outings.
