Last night, we headed back down to the county fair. When we arrived, we were not disapointed. The rides were set up, the animals were nice and smelly, and the food was abundant. The kids enjoyed several rides, fishin' in the game pond for a small stuffed nemo fish, eating hotdogs and ice cream, and searching for the booth for the helium baloons. What fun they had. To add to their excitement, Mamaw Kathy and Papaw Bob went with us.
The girls were afraid of the animals, but loved waving to them and saying hi to them. Alexa especially loved the ice cream, refusing to let it go even when the bottom had fallen out of the sugar cone and was dripping out all over her shirt, pants, and the floor. The baloon was a little more of a challenge, we walked around the entire exibit floor and didn't find it. Shortly before we started heading back out the door, we saw where they were giving them away. Had it not been for the another booth helping the poor girl out, we never would have received a baloon. THANKS WINDOW GUY!!
I back felt much better yesterday, with only taking two Aleve and passing on the muscle relaxer. Though, it didn't help any that the girls wanted me to hold them. At one point in our outing I was holding two girls at once. At least it was the lighter of the two.
Melissa took some great pictures last night, so when I get home I will try to add some to the blog.
Thanks for reading,
Scott H.
Special Prayer Request: Please pray for Papaw Ron as he is going into the hospital for some tests. (Nothing Serious) I just know he isn't looking forward to it, so any thoughts and prayers you can give him would be great.
