The girls are loving school. They are learning new songs, playing games, and even making friends. Last night I heard them sing a song called "The Lord is good to me." "Oh, the Lord is good to me...mumble..mumble..I thank the Lord for being good to me..mumble mumble...for the sun and the rain and the appleseeds, Oh the Lord is good to me. AMEN!" Although, Alexa sometimes says "AimEE". It is too cute. They even have some arm movements to go with it. They are learning to trace letters and circle items that contain a certain letter. They are having some difficulties with tracing and can't seem to pick out the pictures that contain the letters, but that is why they are in preschool. To learn, and to also show mommy and daddy where they are lagging so that we can assist in their learning.
We have been told that we need to show them how to cut more, how to pour water from a little pitcher and help with their tracing and pictures. "I thought I was done with homework!" Maybe in another 14 years or so.
Last night Madison brought home a puppy. It is called Story Puppy and we get to keep it all weekend and journal what they puppy did with Madison. This means that we will eventually have to do it with the other 2 girls as well. First entry, puppy was placed in time out for distracting the girls. Smile.
Well, the girls are and have been sick. Late last week they had cases of stomach sickness. Now it seems to be sinus drainage, chest cold, and possibly even an ear infection. Melissa is taking them to the doctor to see if there is any reason to prescribe medicines.
OH, I didn't tell you. The girls went to a free dance night at "X-Treme Dance Studio" in a town close to ours. They loved it. However, there must have been some kind of allergin in there as Lexi came out with hives. Melissa was going to take them to a free gymnastics class today, but due to sickness that is postponed. We are trying to decide what will be a better fit for the girls as they need more interaction with others and love doing these activities.
Well, I have jabbered long enough. I wish everyone a wonderful weekend. Hopefully, we can get to feeling better and have one as well.
